Tied Rhythms is a series of ceramic sculptures inspired by nautical ropes and sailing knots first developed at an artist residency for AWC Contemporary Gallery at Miori, Gocek. An extension from my ongoing Rhythms series, the work explores repetition, tension, movement, and connection through hand-built clay coils. Created at Miori, a destination reached only by sea, the project reflects on the act of anchoring, and belonging within a landscape shaped by boats and water.
Material: high-fired stoneware ceramic
