This collection was inspired by the sky, and the sea. The most prominent landscape in Istanbul. The sea and the sky always meet each other in the horizon.
With the shape, color and texture of the pieces I try to capture moments of light refracting over the waves as the wind blows or moments of light breaking through the clouds and rippling over the sea.
Each version I make turns out slightly different, and that’s part of the process of learning how to blow glass.

Bu koleksiyon, İstanbul’un en baskın manzarası olan gökyüzü ve denizden ilham aldı. Deniz ve gökyüzü, ufuk çizgisinde her zaman buluşur.
Parçaların formu, rengi ve dokusuyla; rüzgâr eserken ışığın dalgalar üzerinde kırıldığı anları ya da bulutların arasından geçerek denizin üzerinde dalga dalga yayılan ışığı yakalamaya çalışıyorum.
Yaptığım her versiyon biraz farklı oluyor; bu da cam üflemeyi öğrenme sürecinin bir parçası.
